00:00 RC Doing great. Welcome to the Grind Hard Mix Show Show. So for all the people who may not be familiar with you, could you tell us a little bit about yourself, where you from?
0:11 CCSure. My name’s Cali Caliente, that’s the Cali Caliente, your favorite Ebony porn star. And I’m originally from San Francisco, California. That’s the Bay Area.
0:20
RC That’s dope because I’m in, I’m on two radio stations in the Bay. I’m in San Francisco, I’m 99.9 the beat. And then I’m on a FM station in Yuba CityRhythm 1 0 5 0.9 fm. So that is so cool. Shout out to the bay. What do you like about, you know, living in Cali? So what is, what is dope about Cali for the people who’ve never been there? ’cause we got international listeners.
0:48
CC Okay. So California is like one of those places that you see on TV everywhere and um, it kind of just has like this magical energy if you go to the right city because most of the cities are really beautiful. And what I love most about it is the beaches. ’cause we’re coast, we’re coastal so we have a lot of great beaches and the weather of course is amazing. Usually like during the summer and stuff like that. And, and the food, the food is really good too. So those are like the main things that I love about California, the sites, the food and the beaches.
1:28
RC Let’s start with the bay. What is the food spot that you recommend everybody check out? What is like something that you love to eat?
1:36
CC I love sushi. Um, there’s a couple of places that I like to go to, but there’s this one sushi place called Rocos in San Francisco and that’s in like Union Square. But there’s also a Jamaican spot in the Pittsburgh Antioch area, which is the East Bay called fire and Spice. And they have Caribbean style food and they also like have desserts and stuff like that. So if you’re into Oxtails and you know like Oles and stuff like that and Jamaican Caribbean food, that’s another place you might wanna try out if you’re in the area, it’s a little far out but it’s worth the drive if you’re in San Francisco and you’re just looking for something in San Francisco and you like sushi, I would say rocos.
2:20
RC And what’s your spots in Los Angeles?
2:23
CC Ooh la. I have a lot of different places in LA that I really love but I’m gonna have to go with Johnny Pacific, which is like empanadas but they have some fire empanadas. And then um, where else do I usually eat? I mean I feel like there’s the most common ones, which is like um, Boston Nova, but everybody goes there. So yeah,
2:50
RC You got a nice style. Like I could, I can even see you being a fashion model also, but how has growing up in the Bay influenced your personality and your style and how has that moved over to your scenes that you do? ’cause you know, for the people who may not know you are a adult model, adult actress and you are very popular too. You are not like, like a lot of people do know you. But how has growing up in the bay, how has that Helped?
3:20
CC So I feel like growing up in the Bay Area it definitely helped because it made me more diverse. Like I was open to a lot of different types of people, types of styles. Actually San Francisco is one of like the fashion capitals, believe it or not. So I think that because I’m from San Francisco, I just naturally have just an artistic creative style that kind of just flows from within me naturally. So, um, I think that being from the Bay area versus not, no, no, nothing against anybody from LA but I feel like people from the Bay area are way more authentic and like real and we’re hustlers. So I feel like all those things kind of, I just incorporated that into what I do for my own business as an entrepreneur and an adult film star.
4:10
RC Definitely hustlers, like you know, the whole bay music scene, it’s like the dirty south, they dirty south is hustlers too, so yeah, you guys always get respect for being hustlers and not needing a major label or whatever to put out stuff or, and like you said, I could look at your pictures to tell you have a fashion sense. So that’s why I wanted to ask you that because I could just tell that you have that nice fashion sense. So before you got into a adult acting, I know you had to be a model ’cause no way you are that talented with taking pictures without starting as a model.
4:48
CC Originally, yeah, when I was in the Bay Area, I started out as a model. I started doing photo shoots with different photographers, artistic nudes, just kind of building my portfolio. And originally I wanted to be just a model, but I’m only five one and a half inch. So the possibility of me being a runway model was kind of like small. I actually did some runway shows while I was in the Bay Area and it was just a real slow process of like trying to get my foot in the door. And then I also had tattoos so I kind of felt like that was a big deal. Um, and so I kind of just wanted to venture off into something that I was more comfortable with that didn’t have as many, I guess, limitations on it. But I was definitely modeling way before I got into the adult entertainment industry for sure.
5:36
RC So do you still model, because you know, I know you take pictures for like the movie scenes and DVD covers shout out to you for being featured on uh, different DVD covers and in different magazines, but do you still model or you just do adult work?
5:53
CC I haven’t been modeling as much as I would like to these days, but I would, it is something that I want to get back into because for my own content I do, I’ve done photo sets over the years for like my OnlyFans stuff, you know, just to keep my content fresh. But as far as like just focusing on modeling and being in the model industry, I don’t think that that’s something that I really want to pursue at this age. Not to put any barriers on myself because obviously like if I want to I can, but I feel like there’s so many stigmas on like having to appear perfect and I feel like when you’re in that industry, like it’s very competitive and I’m just more comfortable like working behind the scenes and helping other girls with their photo shoots and actually doing photo shoots these days. So I kind of just focus on that.
6:43
RC Speaking of behind the scenes, have you ever directed a movie or would you, like, there’s people like Diana Devoe and there’s other people like um, lyric Sky who’s now behind the scenes. They started off like, you know, doing a or acting. Is that something that you’ll see yourself doing soon or you know, maybe working behind the scenes writing or stuff?
7:06
CC I am currently partaking in writing for a company and I have already directed and assisted in directing A DVD for Elegant Angel, which I think it’s under. Um, it’s actually, I don’t, is it, it might be under, some of them are under, um, west Coast production, but I was working with Prince Joshua and I was help helping assist on set for a couple of his scenes. Well actually like a few of his scenes. So that’s what I’ve been doing. I’ve been working behind the scenes and that’s why I haven’t been as active in front of the camera.
7:41
RC Congratulations. That’s that’s major. So do you like behind the scenes a little bit better than being in front of the camera? Like what, what do you like the most?
7:51
CC I feel like the porn industry has its date, right? Like when you’re new and you’re fresh and you’re young, you’re gonna get a lot of work. But if you don’t know how to maintain and manage your money or pivot once you start to kind of like get older because there’s always gonna be that shift. And I think nobody, like, they don’t really prepare for it because they don’t ever see it really happening to them. And then what happens is you get to this point where you’re, you know, trying to remain relevant for me. Like it’s not about remaining relevant or being like the biggest hoe in the industry and the, you know, all over the company. Like I’m all over the place now. It’s like, wow, like how much more do you guys want from me? You know, there’s like a few more companies I see myself working with, but overall, um, I feel like for longevity I would rather be behind the camera.
8:42
RC Definitely. Definitely. I, I mean that’s why I asked you that because I know there’s a lot of people who are pivoted behind, you know, they go up behind the scenes because you know, you have like, I, I think I remember when I first saw you come out, so yeah, you, I know you all did a lot of work. Do you remember what studio you enjoyed working with the most? Enjoyed
9:03
CC Working with the majority of the studios that I worked with, but I would say Elegant Angel was one of the top ones and Tushy.
9:11
RC Okay. And do you got like a favorite, a favorite male or female CoStar that you have did scenes with?
9:20
CC Yeah, I wanted to share, um, there’s a few, prince Joshua is one of my favorites. Hollywood Cash is one of my favorites. We don’t have any professional scenes but we shot content and everybody loved it, including myself. Hazel Grace is a girl that I like to work with, but I’m working with behind the scenes as well. I’m, I’m script writing for her, her, I’ve worked with Misty Stone, Anna Fox, and a few other people that I’ve always kind of really to work with and I really appreciate them. They’re some of my favorite people in the industry off the top of the head. That’s pretty much the list for.
10:02
RC Alright. What is one miscon misconception that people have about adult models and adult modeling or a door acting
10:14
CC That we’ll have sex with anybody at any time and that we’re easy?
10:20
RC Yeah, a lot of people don’t even know that a lot of you guys are married or you have boyfriends or you know, like the guys might have a girlfriend. So a lot of people don’t know that. And you know, nothing that I think a lot of people think that, um, don’t know is that a lot of you guys are college educated also. So before you would do a scene, how did, how did you prepare for your scene?
10:41
CC Well it depends on if it’s badge or anal. Of course for a badge it’s pretty simple. I just make sure I have a bag packed with a few items that I might need for like still shots, heels, lingerie, hygiene stuff for anal, I usually stop eating like around 9:10 PM at night And, and then in the morning I clean out and I take an Imodium and throughout the day I usually eat gummies. And then before I get ready to actually shoot, I clean out again and take another Imodium and then I also pump myself with lube.
11:16
RC Wow. So people think that it’s easy but you gotta go through a lot.
11:21
CC Yeah. And then you have to make sure you stay hydrated that whole time because you’re not eating. Yeah.
11:27
RC And then also see I’m a photographer so I know this pour is a lot of hot lights and so you guys have to deal with those hot lights also.
11:35
CC Mm-hmm and that can exhaust you and dehydrate you too. So
11:40
RC All right. So what advice would you have for someone that want to enter into the adult industry? There’s a lot of ladies that might throw only fans and they wanna step up and they wanna be of a adult star or maybe they are just listening to the show and they wanna be get into the industry. What advice would you give them?
11:59
CC Don’t do anything on camera that you’re gonna regret later. ’cause once it’s on the internet, it’s on there forever and it’s not easy, it’s a hustle just like anything else, it’s a business just like anything else. So any, the effort you put into it is the effort that you get out and it’s not easy money. So make sure it’s something you really are dedicated to and want to do before you get into it because yeah, it’s not easy. It can be fun but it’s not easy. What
12:27
RC Would you say doing adult movies, have it opened up for you that you probably, probably would’ve never had a chance to do if you didn’t do adult movies? Is there like some doors that it might have opened up for you?
12:40
CC I mean, I think just me being really popular online and people knowing who I am opened a lot of doors, might get hit up by a lot of different people all the time. I mean, I wouldn’t have my own pussy pocket, I wouldn’t have my own AI avatar. I think it definitely gave me the opportunity to have passive income so that I can kind of like, enjoy life a lot more without having to worry about being financially stable. So that was a major door that opened up for me.
13:13
RC So like what is like some people you have not collaborate with it. I think you touched bases on it, but some people that you haven’t collaborate with it that you would like to work with and it also could be mainstream.
13:24
CC I wanna work with Chanel Hart.
13:27
RC Okay. CC and I’m about to work with Dre, which is like, he’s a newer content creator, but he is really popular online and um, maybe Ricky’s room or Ricky Johnson. And that’s pretty much it. I’ve pretty much ran through the whole industry to my knowledge. So do you it’s, it’s not too many left.
13:49
RC Do you know how many scenes you have done
13:53
CC Over 70?
13:54
RC Oh that’s dope. CC last time I checked it was at about 67, 68 and uh, I haven’t checked since then, but I would probably say about 70 to 80 at this point. So I’m pushing up on a hundred, which would be some shit. ’cause yeah, I mean I’m trying to figure out like who shot the most scenes in porn.
14:22
RC I don’t know, but I know Anna Foxxx to a lot of see
14:27
CC Yeah, for sure.
14:28
RC So I don’t know, it might be her for your generation. I don’t know.
14:34
CC I’m gonna have to do some research on that,
14:36
RC But I, I I think it’s Anna Foxxx. Like she’s
14:39
CC Definitely, she is the most active
14:43
RC I think that too. And I remember when she started off as a model, she was on Model Mayhem back in the day. So like a lot of you ladies, you start off as models. So she was definitely,
14:55
CC I was on Model Mayhem.
14:57
RC Yeah. I think I might be your friend or something, I don’t know. But definitely remember you for from like, when you first started. And I also gotta say you blocked me on one of my accounts.
15:10
CC Like that’s an possibilie. You probably was talking shit, I don’t know.
15:14
RC I don’t talk. I was, I was kind of shocked ’cause I was like, what’d I do? What you blocked? You definitely blocked me. It was my uh, magazine account. I was like, what’d I do? But yeah, nah, I never talked to you at all. So that was weird. But, uh, I, that’s why I was shocked you actually, um, took this interview because I was like wow, she blocked me. But um, yeah, but uh, it was nice interviewing you. Could you tell people how they can connect with you, how they can buy the pocket, Pocket vagina and all that stuff so they can connect with you?
15:52
CC Yeah, sure. You just have to look me up online under Cali Caliente or the Cali Caliente, if you wanna look me up on Twitter X it’s the Cali Caliente and on Instagram it’s the Cali Caliente backup. And then on OnlyFans it’s the Cali Kelly and Day. All of my links will be located on my Twitter account. If you’re looking to get the Pussy Pocket or if you wanna explore some fun with my AI character, you can do that. I also have PornHub, Many Vids, XVideos, Sheer, it’s all under the Cali Caliente. Just look me up and I should pop right up. Um, but yeah,
16:31
RC I forgot this, this a hip hop show. So we gotta get some hip hop questions here. Here.
16:35
RC Oh yes please. who is your favorite artist from the Bay? Right down. It could be a us outside artist or major artist. Who who do you listen to?
16:46
CC Uh, Kelani. Oh
16:48
RC Yeah, I listen to a lot of Kelani. I, I can’t even find, I love her and she’s dope.
16:53
CC Do you know your favorite song?
16:56
CC Crazy. RC You Can Sing
17:00
CC I don’t know. Maybe .
17:05
RC To me. Why you play I’m the DJs. You sound like you, you might, you might could do some music like, you know, like India. India started a rap career. I don’t know if you remember her. She was porn these ladies in porn. She started a rap career and um, I used to play her music and then Pinky also had a song, a rap song too. But you know, there is some ladies who go from porn to to rap that and sing it. So I don’t know, you might have a little, you might wanna explore that and you are from, you are from the day, so
17:40
CC We’ll see. Maybe,
17:43
RC If you drop something
17:49
RC Well you gotta come back to this show no matter what, if you do drop something,
17:55
CC Okay, RC What song do you remember hearing first growing up?
18:01
CC Uh, Get Low by San Quentin.
18:04
RC Oh yeah, that’s definitely dope. You know what? Oh this show. We gonna drop some bay our area just to shout. Shout you out. We gonna drop a we gonna do a bay mix. With Too Short, Mac Dre. We Gonna play, we gonna play all of that. Uh, how has the bay hip hop influenced your style? ’cause we talked about bay influenced you, but how about the hip hop?
18:29
CC I’m from the home of the car shows and hoes, so I drive like a bat outta hell. , I’m from San Francisco but I drive like I’m from Oakland.
18:40
RC Did you do a city where you had like a low rider and you was like dressed like they dress in the bay with the flannel on?
18:48
CC No, that wasn’t me.
18:51
RC I’m giving you tips right now, you should do a dope photo shoot. In lingerie or you don’t even have to have a lingerie. You got the Gs and you know, the, the, you know, dress like the Bay and have like the Cadillac. That would be dope as heck. That would be some good promo
19:11
CC Noted. Mentally noted.
19:14
RC Do you think the Bay get enough credit because you know, 50 years of hip hop I didn’t see anything about the Bay?
19:21
CC No, they don’t. Uh, right now they’re not really keen to promoting the bay because it’s kind of not doing well. So they’re trying to like keep it out of eyesight, if that makes sense. Like the only thing good that’s going on in the bay right now is the basketball and the football teams. Other than that, the whole bay is pretty much trash. Like it’s just not a good place right now. Um, with all the homeless people, with all the robberies, the bipping like breaking into cars, drug addicts on the street. It’s such a beautiful place but politicians are feeling failing the communities. So I haven’t been back in over three years.
20:01
RC Speaking of politician, how do you feel about the politicians in different countries, especially like Texas, North Carolina, blocking poor, they’re, they always like, since I remember they has always attacked poor but, and even the UK just passed a bill where they’re blocking poor. How do you feel about that?
20:23
CC There are gonna censor us and people need to get ready for it. That’s why I’m kind of branching off into other avenues other than porn because it’s gonna happen regardless. It’s already starting to happen. So I don’t know what’s gonna happen within the next couple of years with the presidency and everything that’s happening. But the fact that they started banning point already lets you know kind of where, what direction they’re headed in. So it’s like I hope people are kind of getting ready for that. ’cause it’s only a matter of time before they block it everywhere. Yeah, right Too.
20:54
RC People gonna have to get VPN or something, you know, they’re gonna find a workaround ’cause you know,
21:00
CC I mean you could get it directly from me, you just gotta buy it from me, you know? So that might actually help people.
21:07
RC Yeah, you got, you gotta tell them again how they can connect with you though
21:12
CC Only fans.
21:13
RC Yeah, So yeah. Do you have like a website or something?
21:17
CC Not yet.
21:19
CC I’m working on that. So do you have any outs or any closing words for the good people? RC And again, thank you for coming to The Grind Heart next show. Definitely. It was a pleasure having you up there. Be up here because in my book you are a legend so CC Oh, thank you.
21:37
CC Shout out to you. Thank you for having me on the show again. You can find me at the Cali Caliente on Twitter and the Cali Caliente backup on Instagram. And then just look me up and put in keywords, the Cali Caliente x xx and you can find me.
21:59
RC Alright. Again, it was a pleasure having you all the show. Shout out to you, shout out to your team and um, keep doing all these amazing stuff. And uh, yeah, that’s all I got. Do you got anything else you wanna say to the good people?
