Caribbean Vibes with Renaldo Creative is a high-energy radio show that started in North Carolina and now plays on stations across the USA, UK, Australia, and Scotland. It celebrates the best in Reggae, Dancehall, Soca, Afrobeats, and Amapiano with birthday shout-outs, exclusive blends, artist drops, and more.

Renaldo Creative didn’t just join the wave; he helped build it. Back in 2012, he was known for spinning nothing but Soca. When Caribbean music was more underground in the U.S., Renaldo was already pushing it out through Dream Angel Radio on Blog Talk Radio. He dropped mixtapes, built a loyal fanbase, and brought island sounds to people who had never heard them before.

He was inspired by legends like Massive B, Stone Love, DJ Playhouse, Selecta Bam Bam, and Dexterity. By 2020, Renaldo was back mixing Hip-Hop, blending it with Soca, R&B, and EDM to create “The Party Connect.” In 2021, he returned to Mixcloud, dropping weekly mixes and featuring indie artists like Singlikephilly.

In 2001, Renaldo Creative started creating soca mix shows for his listeners on Mixcloud and the Clubhouse app. He became the first DJ to play soca on Clubhouse, building a small but loyal fan base who vibed with his style.

MODEL CONNECTION

While hosting Model ConnectRenaldo Creative was in pain he couldn’t move much, but kept pushing through. His co-hosts, Kermit and Travis, didn’t know what he was going through. Later, Renaldo went to the emergency room, but they sent him home.

A few days later, he walked to a local store. Each step was a struggle. That day, his body gave out he became partly paralyzed. He went back to the hospital, but they still didn’t find the cause.

Refusing to give up, Renaldo asked for deeper tests. That’s when doctors found the truth: he had cancer. He was rushed to a larger hospital and began treatment right away. For 3 to 4 months, he battled through it all.

While in the hospital, music became his lifeline. It gave him hope, strength, and a reminder of why he started Model Connect in the first place giving people a space to be seen, supported, and inspired.

While in the hospital, Renaldo Creative got his laptop sent in and started making beats and dropping new radio shows every week right from his hospital bed.

He didn’t know that Dan Matthews from Billboard Charting Klubjumper, Program Director of Jamz 99.3 FM and other major stations, was tuning in. DJ Gio had introduced Renaldo to Dan. Then came the message: “Want to join Jamz 99.3 FM as a mix DJ?”

In 2022, Renaldo launched a new Verified Hip-Hop and R&B Radio Station www.inspir3radio.com. He later added a magazine and a community.

For Labor Day, he sent one of his mixes to 94.1 Turn It Up Radio. They loved it and offered him a regular Saturday slot. From there, things took off. His show landed on Hit 1, Litty Radio, and more.

Renaldo called the show Caribbean Vibes. It featured the best in reggae, dancehall, soca, and afrobeats. By July 26, 2025, Caribbean Vibes had aired 42 episodes and was syndicated across 25 radio stations.

A familiar voice on the show is Tahnika Keyshay, adding energy that fans connect with. Renaldo also got DJ drops from Klassik Frescobar (behind the hit “Dansa“), Ebony Empress, and Deearr. giving the show flavor and island love

Grind Hard and Caribbean Vibes now airs on 28 radio stations in the USA, UK, Australia, and Scotland and expanding. Caribbean Vibes with Renaldo Creative is under The Grind Hard and Inspir3 Radio brand.

The show airs in the USA, UK, and Australia. New artists can send their music here.
